January 28, 2014After 8-10 years since its last update and being put to rest since Godzilla: Final Wars, Toho has finally brought back the official Godzilla Japanese website!
I must say that this site is VERY well put together and very clean, using the latest web languages such as HTML5, jQuery, CSS3… sorry, my web knowledge is getting in the way here. Anywho, the site houses some pretty useful information, ranging from all the films, interviews, news, to the latest on Godzilla-related toys. So if you haven’t gone there yet, I would suggest that you do.
Also, there’s a secret, special page that you can access, but you’ll have to find out how to get there… you know what, why don’t I just link to the special page right here?
The special page is pretty awesome and acts kind of like a game where you get to move Godzilla through Tokyo! You can only push the forward arrow button and he walks through Tokyo, destroying a few buildings, and once you go through Tokyo, you go right back where you started.
BUT, there are quite a few keyboard buttons to push where you’ll see other cool things happening on this page. Below is the list of keys to push to activate these certain results:
- → = Move forward
- E = Jets flying
- G = Atomic Ray
- K = King Ghidorah
- M = Mothra
Hope you’ll find this special page amusing, as it did me. Also, we all know that this site was brought back not only to celebrate the Big Guy’s 60th Anniversary, but also for the release of Legendary Pictures’ Godzilla film.
