As we have reported not too long ago, both Kraken Releasing and Section23 Films announced that they were releasing Godzilla vs. Hedorah, Godzilla vs. Gigan and Godzilla vs. The Sea Monster onto both DVD and Blu-Ray. Well we have received more news and that we get a first look at the covers to both video formats (seen below)!
Although the covers aren’t visually graphical like the Media Blasters, Alpha Video and Sony Entertainment; however, it does resemble the covers made by Classic Media. But, things are still being finalized, hence the “NOT FINAL” watermark in front of the covers.
However, we finally do have a release date and retail price for the video formats – the DVD and Blu-Rays of the films are scheduled to be released on May 6, 2014, just 10 days before the release of Legendary Pictures’ Godzilla film. The Blu-Rays will be retailed at $14.98 each and DVDs are retailing at $9.98 each.
The DVDs and Blu-Rays aren’t available for pre-order yet from what I’ve seen, but I will keep all of you posted when these films do become available for pre-order.
