“Godzilla Raids Again” Review

I know this news is about a month old, but, it’s still good enough to point out how well the new Godzilla comic, published by IDW Publishing, sold out on the day when it was released! This even exceeds/surpasses the company’s expectations. Ted Adams, IDW’s Chief Executive Officer, thought that a sell out was in the cards, but having the #1 issue to sell out in one day really surprised him.
Although that IDW is well-known to publish great comics such as Transformers, Star Trek and 30 Days of Night, Godzilla: Kingdom of Monsters was their largest print-run ever, and to have the first issue sell out in one day was all due to a great retailer base and loyal followers of the King of the Monsters.
IDW Publishing is currently doing a second print of the first issue and will be available in stores May 11th in order to meet the demands.
Issue #2 of Godzilla:Kingdom of Monsters is scheduled to be released by the end of the month. So look forward to reviews on the first two issues of the comic very soon.
