18. Godzilla X Mechagodzilla: Another film moving up my list: Godzilla X Mechagodzilla. If you remember one of the PXCR episodes earlier this year, you’ll remember how much I found this film to be awful for a number of years. I never did find this one to be great, but I did find it to be better than Godzilla X Megaguirus, but not by much.
When I watched the movie earlier this year, I was pleasantly surprised at how much that I did enjoy the characters and the story that time. Godzilla still stands around letting Mechagodzilla pound at him and the final battle still includes the hug-match. The final battle has some neat moves and effects, but it’s middle-of-the-road in my opinion.
Godzilla X Mechagodzilla, though, will probably move up my list with time.
