23. Godzilla X Megaguirus: Like Godzilla Vs. King Ghidorah, I always found Godzilla X Megaguirus to be one of the weaker entries in the series. Again, I was a bit surprised by how much I actually enjoyed it. I liked it more than Godzilla Vs. King Ghidorah in my viewing of it last summer which is why it is above that film.
Still, the film has its moments. I still find the characters fairly bland and uninteresting. Godzilla isn’t in it as often as I’d like him to be and I am still having difficulty getting past the stiff Megaguirus marionette. The two daikaiju needed to have an earlier battle, I believe, too. There simply isn’t enough interesting moments in the film to keep my full attention.
But also like Godzilla Vs. King Ghidorah, this movie’s future on moving up my list looks a bit brighter.
