Planet X Control Room: Episode 15

On this week’s episode of Planet X Control Room, everyone has their “Face-On”, but do NessMasta and NikAinu have their “Face-Off”?

Anyways, we’re digressing here… NessMasta gets straight to the news. He discusses about the ‘Mothra’ 1961 two-disc CD set that Nik is having and major turn-on towards the set. Then Ness gets a tipoff from a fellow GP Member that the DVD release date of ‘Death Kappa’ has now been pushed back from late July to later September.

Next, the hosts jump into reviewing the fifteenth and last Showa Era film of the Godzilla franchise, ‘Terror of Mechagodzilla’. NikAinu was so depressed that he threw in a funeral for the death of the Showa Era film reviews.

With no Actor Recognition segment for this week’s episode, the hosts tell the listeners the up-to-date progress on Monster Championship Wrestling and how Nik is annoyed that NessMasta isn’t giving him a ZIP file of old MCW event logos to look at.

On this week’s segment of Dream Matches, Nik and Ness get to round two of the Sanda vs. Gaira bout, then Manda tries to strangle his opponent, Ebirah! Who will finally make it out from the Sanda/Gaira fight and will Manda or Ebirah win this week?

After a quick intermission, The hosts get to the Free-For-F**king-All segment! NikAinu discusses his top 5 favorite monster villains of the Godzilla franchise and NessMasta reviews the ‘Gamera: The Giant Monster’ DVD package from SHOUT! Factory. Let me tell you, by looking at Gamera’s anatomy, he’s got A LOT, we mean A LOT, of sacs inside him.

Then, the hosts discuss their Tune It Up! tracks of the week and literally go “Ho Ho Ho-, Green Giant!” all over your ass, taking on the pros and cons of physical books and electronic books, as well as bashing and at the same time praising the film, ‘Vampires Suck’, in Minya’s Shit-Fit!
