Starting tomorrow in San Francisco, VIZ Cinema (The nation’s only theater that’s only dedicated to Japanese film) will be having a GodzillaThon that’ll run through next Thursday. The theater will be showing 4 classic films from the Godzilla franchise: Godzilla vs. Hedorah, Godzilla vs. Gigan, Godzilla vs. Megalon, and Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla. All of the films will be shown in 35mm prints with English overdubbing. The tickets will cost $10 for each of the films.

Also, the Editor-and-Chief of Otaku USA, Patrick Macias, will bring two experts on Japanese monster films in the 3rd Volume of TokyoScope Talk – War of the Giant Monsters. Fans can enter into a raffle for a chance to win a DVD copy of Gamera: The Giant Monster donated by Shout! Factory.
