April 11, 2013Here we go, folks! I’m sure with the field being dwindled you may have more of an idea where I may rank the remaining movies. Some of you may be surprised and I hope I have been able to bring you some surprises. I, certainly, have surprised myself with some of the placings I’ve made. Even with this current list, I was a bit surprised some of the movies that remained and where I placed them. This was a wee bit easier this time, but still difficult enough where I made a couple of changes. Let’s see what I have for the 8 through 5 spots…
8. Godzilla 2000: Despite not having watched the film in the last year, I was surprised it made it this far up my list. I think because I’ve always had an affinity for this film and, partially, with it being my first Japanese Godzilla film I’ve seen on the big screen.
The story is interesting and most of the characters are as well despite some goofy scenes occasionally. The Godzilla suit in this movie is one of my all-time favorites and I do love Orga even though his execution wasn’t the greatest.
Great effects, fun battles, interesting characters and humor placed this movie in the eighth spot.
