Planet X Control Room | 1: Godzilla, King of the Monsters

The VERY first episode to a BRAND SPANKIN’ NEW GODZILLA/GIANT MONSTER PODCAST SHOW, Planet X Control Room! One of the first, if not, the first Godzilla/Giant Monster podcast on the interwebs! The show will discuss many things in the realms of Godzilla, Gamera, Mothra, and other giant monster films. There are two hosts for PXCR, and they are NikAinu and NessMasta!

In their very first segment, they’ll be discussing news on the Warner Bros. and Legendary Picture confirmation that they’ve acquired the rights to produce a Godzilla film, which they’ve slated a release for the film sometime in 2012.

Next, the two talk about some story speculations of what the new Godzilla film might be about and how it might go, since Legendary Pictures said that it’ll pay respect to the original 1954 film, and not to the 1998 American film.

After intermission, they somehow get around to talking about the new iPad. But it’s a good listen.

The hosts get back on track and review the very first film of the Godzilla franchise: Godzilla: King of the Monsters. Of course, the most popular film that ever came out of Japan alongside with Seven Samurai.

Next, NessMasta and NikAiku talk about on which actors/actresses will star in Godzilla 2012, as well as staff members like the director.

Next segment is the toy discussion. The hosts talk about their favorite toys from the past and now.

Lastly, NessMasta talks about on what he got at a Japanese gift store in a Minneapolis mall during the weekend, and he is very excited to show and tell.
