Jason Reviews: Godzilla Cataclysm #2
March 22, 2015“Negadon: The Monster from Mars” Review
March 26, 2015Wow! There seems to be no stopping Viras and Jamila, the sole-surviving eight seeds in this year’s Kaiju Tourney. They certainly continue to bring one upset after another.
Ultraman and Gamera had tough bouts with Baltan and Mothra, but managed to advance and are looking to potentially face-off against each other in the Final Four; that is if they can get past Viras and Megalon respectively.
Red Baron put a beat down on Miroku. In the randomization of that matchup, Red Baron won the necessary four matches without losing a single bout. But being a one seed, it isn’t causing quite the commotion that Viras and Jamila are doing. Nevertheless, Red Baron has been, to say the least, impressive in the tourney. Be on the lookout for the possibility of this heroic bot to enter the Final.
Torozon and Mecha-King Ghidorah had an impressive match that went the full seven rounds to decide the victor. Torozon pulled a slight upset with the win here.
Jamila had a tough bout with El Gusano but survived. Biollante and Pestar took the full seven bouts to decide the winner of their match and Pestar pulled the upset itself. So we have a seven and eight seed squaring off in the Mutated Kaiju Regional Final in a few days. Not only will the winner of that match be the champion of that region, but will be one win away from the final.
Here is the entire bracket:
