Welcome, one and all, to the very first PXCR Film Commentary Kickoff!
As I explain in the audio, provided at the end of this exposition, these Commentary Kickoffs provide you with Ness’s and my initial thoughts with the movie we will be commentating before beginning the commentary itself.
They’re designed to give you some background information on where we are coming from as we approach the commentary and to, hopefully, get you prepared and excited about the upcoming film commentary.
Our very first film commentary will be 1965’s Frankenstein Conquers the World. This film seems to be all, but forgotten, by most daikaiju fans. So I thought it would be appropriate to bring the film to light in the hopes of rejuvenating fans’ interest, including mine, in the film.
The commentary itself won’t be available until next week, but, in the meantime, you can listen to the 15 minutes of audio I have provided below to get you ready to enjoy Frankenstein Conquers the World!
