November 11, 2018Although the new branding has been out there for the past couple weeks as of writing this blog post, but I would like to make a formal announcement and revealing of the new branding for Daikaiju Network.
We here at Daikaiju Network have done our first rebranding change since our last brand change in July 2015 with the “DKN” wordmark, which stuck as our main logo until this morning of November 10, 2018.
Our new branding has been in the works since Day 2 of G-FEST XXIV, a few months ago, as Kent and I wanted something that would really represent the Kaiju genre more. Thus, we came up with the design that you see, plus, more variations below.
The branding that we wanted for Daikaiju Network had to at least have a kaiju incorporated, which we have succeeded in doing so. This is the first time we’ve had a kaiju as part of our primary branding since our days as Godzilla Planet five to six years ago, but the first time that we’ve designed an original kaiju for our new branding, and we incapsulated the kaiju in a hexagon.
The wordmark portion of our branding is a more unique part of our branding. The way we’ve styled out the wordmark, not only it perfectly fits underneath the hexagon, but it also takes on the similar look/feel of the Destroy All Monsters English title wordmark.
So, without a further ado, we’ve displayed the variations of our brand new marks that will represent Daikaiju Network for a long time!
