Go! Go! Kaiju!: The Next Evolution of Daikaiju Network

Hard to believe it’s been nearly 10 years this year since we have rebranded to Daikaiju Network from our previous iteration as Planet X Control Room. I initially wanted to have the brand of Daikaiju Network to be of something where we could do multiple shows for the different genres for kaiju, tokusatsu, super sentai, etc. You could say we initially were reaching that goal with the likes of the DKN Show, DKN Commentary and DKN TokuZone; however, it seemed like it was better to perhaps consolidate things into a more centralized show. So, the Network in the Daikaiju Network name seems to be more out of place as time went on, as well as Daikaiju, as more people are more familiar with Kaiju instead of Daikaiju.

With that, that’s why I like to formally announce the next evolution in our show brand, as we get more into not only kaiju, but more into the tokusatsu and super sentai, by us rebranding to Go! Go! Kaiju Show!

With the rebranding, the new name makes much more sense with where we’re heading, and also not only obviously paying homage to the kaiju genre with the word ‘Kaiju’ in the brand name and something that’s familiar to everyone, but ‘Go! Go!’ pays homage to both tokusatsu and super sentai; thus, bringing both ‘Go! Go!’ and ‘Kaiju’ together in one brand name and to show what the show is about. Also, we’ve obviously dropped the ‘Network’ word and brought in ‘Show’ just to show that we’re just one, entire show that’s dedicated to everything kaiju, tokusatsu and super sentai!

But before I forget, the kaiju logo from our current Daikaiju Network brand is still sticking with us; but, it’s also been redesigned to go along with the Go! Go! Kaiju Show brand, as you can see below. So Expect the full transition/rebrand from Daikaiju Network to Go! Go! Kaiju Show to take place this coming April 2024!
