Total Axess: Kent Revisits “Godzilla Raids Again”

I am in a minority of fans who believe this film is not as bad as most of the fandom believes. For those who listened to our one PXCR episode after Jason and I had gone to G-Fest 19 (if you haven’t listened to it, it can be found in our archives on this site), I had described a moment when there was a panel discussing “Godzilla Raids Again.” A question was asked to the audience, “How many of you believe this film is in the upper half of Godzilla films?” I was the only one, in the room, who raised his hand.

I still feel like this film is around the middle-of-the-pack/upper half of the franchise in terms of quality.

In this episode of Total Axess, I talk about “Godzilla Raids Again” and hope to accomplish the task of attempting those who don’t like the film to view it from a different perspective. However, I must admit, I spent a great deal of time admitting a number of the film’s flaws and being very critical of it. At the end of the episode, I make an attempt to redeem it and point out some of it’s stronger points.
